Durable Medical Equipment

When the United Labor Agency was founded in 1970, we were known as the Community Kidney Dialysis Center. We have been providing medical equipment for in-home use ever since. We now offer a full line of medical equipment. Over the years thousands of people have received equipment and had their lives made more comfortable.

How Our Service Works

Through this service many types of durable medical equipment are available, from hospital beds to wheelchairs and walkers. A full range of life sustaining equipment can be accessible.

In order to meet service requirements, equipment needs must be determined by a doctors’ prescription and include the type of equipment and length of time you are to have it in your home. Depending on your current insurance provider, service will be assessed in two different ways.

Four Steps To Service

  1. Secure a prescription from your doctor.
  2. Call (216) 391-0900 and ask for the Medical Equipment Service Representative.
  3. Complete an application (we will need your current address and phone number in order to deliver and your health insurance information.
  4. If you do not have coverage, we will need to determine ability to pay on a sliding scale, based on income.

Two Ways You Can Help

If you have any durable medical equipment, which you do not need, you can donate it to the United Labor Agency. We will be happy to pick it up from you at your convenience.

Cash donations are also accepted and used to provide equipment to those in need.
