Training and Resources
Many participants who lack a marketable skill may qualify for re-training benefits. Speak with a case manager to see if you qualify.
In addition to being able to provide outside training, the ULA also has in-house training programs. Clients needing computer skills should take advantage of our computer class which can help even the most technologically unskilled. The workshop lasts two weeks long and is located in our new resource center boasting 10 brand new networked computers.
Even if you do not qualify for training, we can assist you in many other ways. We have computers with a high-speed connection available to assist you with online job searches. We can provide you with resume paper, envelopes, labels and will even pay for the postage. Telephone, fax, and copy machines are available along with an extensive library of career materials including books, videos and CD-ROMs.
